- Is Orifold on iPhone?
- Not yet. Orifold for iPhone is on its way. For now, Orifold is made for iPad.
- Does Orifold work across devices?
- Between iPads, yes. With Orifold Plus, your pages carry between your iPads through your own iCloud — no account, no server of ours. A backup is still a file you carry, if you want one in hand.
- What stays free?
- Today and this week, always yours to plan. The Studio, Grid and Blank layouts, three core inks, widgets, and a focus block a day. The free desk is yours for as long as you like.
- What happens if I stop paying for Plus?
- Plus rests; nothing is punished. Every page you wrote is still here. Older pages wait behind the history wall and reopen the moment you keep Plus again. Nothing you write is ever deleted.
- Where is my data?
- On your devices. Pages, ink, and the handwriting index are stored on your iPad; with Plus they carry between your iPads through your own iCloud — Apple’s private database, reaching only your devices. No account, no server of ours. Orifold also keeps a few local counters to understand its own funnels — no identifiers, and they never leave the iPad.
- Does Orifold read my calendar?
- Yes, with your permission — that is the point. Your Calendar events and Reminders are read on this iPad to print your pages, and they stay in your own calendar. Decline, and Orifold shows you sample ink instead.
- What is a monthly drop?
- A new page layout and a seasonal set of inks, released together for Plus. The first arrived in August 2026, and each month since has added another.
- Can I bring my own PDF planner?
- Yes. Import a planner PDF you already own — it becomes paper you write on. Your ink, tasks and search work on top, just like an Orifold page. Your first imported planner is free; Plus keeps a whole library.
- How do I cancel my subscription?
- On iPad, Orifold carries a Manage Subscription row under Purchases — it opens the App Store’s own sheet, where you cancel. Or, from iOS: Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Cancel anytime; you keep Plus until the period ends, then the desk settles back to Free with everything you wrote intact.
- How many notifications will Orifold send?
- Two quiet notes a day at most — a morning brief and an evening review, each opt-in, all local. During a free trial, one extra reminder before it ends. Orifold never asks twice for permission.
